I am going to share a secret with you, I take brand name BBQ Sauce and change it to make it my own, and then I dose the eff out of it! Hazzaaaaaa! Seriously though don’t tell anyone, lol.
Who doesn’t love BBQ? If you don’t please leave this is a post for BBQ loving lunatics only!
I am currently obsessed with Jim Beams Bourbon BBQ sauce, its thick, chunky, sweet and tangy and just effing delicious. So of course I’m going to change it.
What You Need
- 1.5 Cup Fav BBQ Sauce (I’m using Jim Beam)
- 1/4 Cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 Cup CBD Honey (I Love Colorado Hemp Honey)
- 1/2 to 1 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
- Tincture – Home made or store bought is fine
This is a super simple recipe. Take all the things and put them in a bowl and whisk. The only other step I do is I will put everything on the stove on med/low to let the sauce warm up and incorporate. Jar it and pop it in the fridge for later use.

How much tincture should you use? This is personal preference. My dosage isn’t going to match yours as my edible tolerance is that of the Hulk. A good suggestion is to start off with 5mg doses, so if your recipe calls for the entire jar of sauce its time to do some math. My Jars are generally about 300-400 MG so each does is about 20-30mg depending on the recipe.
