Yes, I believe cannabis has shifted the trajectory of holistic health, and holistic health will eventually shape the cannabis industry. Or so I hope.
Across the country cannabis is being legalized, and people you’d never expect are becoming consumers. Legal consumers! It still hits me in a kid on Christmas morning kind of way. With more and more people consuming the plant, more and more people are asking if they can incorporate this plant into their daily wellness. After all, Cannabis is an experience enhancer, so why wouldn’t it enhance more aspects of life than we’ve considered?
Cannabis events and products are popping up in all sorts of places that one may not expect. Yoga studios are offering cannabis yoga classes that allow us to get deeper into our stretches and to enhance focus on breathing. Meditation studios are taking us deeper into our minds with cannabis meditation sessions and courses. Cannabis massages, if you’ve never had one, are amazing! Mini golf has cannabis nights, and cannabis book clubs have even become a thing. Everywhere you look people are incorporating cannabis! So, why wouldn’t people actively seek out ways to use the plant to ease anxiety, stay in the moment, get deeper into stretches, and soothe sore muscles amongst other amazing uses for this plant.
How are you consuming cannabis holistically? Are you seeking out terpene profiles and strains that truly enhance the experience you are trying to have? Did you know that was even a thing? I specifically grow strains that I can utilize to ease body pain, ease the mental stresses of every day life, to add depth to my palate when eating my favorite foods, to brighten the colors on my daily walks, and to help me stay grounded in moments I when life is too beautiful to let go of. Have you tried it yet? I encourage you to give it a shot in a safe environment.
I truly look forward to the stigma around the cannabis plant being fully dispelled, a time when doctors are open to hearing about how cannabis helps you be a better you. One day!
Be Well and be blessed!
