How to Make Delicious Cannabis Infused Honey

Honey can be used in a gambit of recipes and is absolutely delicious. But many people think making it is a mystery, and it’s incredibly easy!

Honey has some beautiful health benefits and when you add that to cannabis you create a product that is delicious, fun to work with, and reduces the amount of carbon you may have taken into your lungs from inhaling instead of consuming. Its a great product to have at home is you are a cannabis medical patient.

I typically use my canna honey in tea, butters, and just as my morning edible, straight up, nothing else, like a canna honey boss! LOL

Seriously though, this shiz is delicious and you may have a hard time not eating it straight out of the jar…

So, grab your crock pots and your mason jars and lets get cooking!

Ingredients & Tools

Crock Pot

Mason Jar

Cheese Cloth

14-15 Grams of decarbed ground Cannabis

2-3 Cups of RAW honey

Something to stir with

water

hemp string

DECARBOXILIZATION?    Decarb is a process to activate your THCa and convert it to good old THC. Preheat your oven to 240°F bake your cannabis in a mason jar with the lid resting on the jar top DO NOT TWIST IT ON you will need to stir up our cannabis a few times during the decarb process anyway. Keeping the lid resting on top helps preserve terpenes After about 40 minutes your cannabis jar is ready to be removed from the oven and allowed to cool undisturbed with the cover still resting on top.

So how do we make canna honey?

You are going to make this like you would a really long steeping tea.

  1. Take your decarbed cannabis and wrap it in cheesecloth and tie with your string
  2. Put your cannabis pouch into your jar and pour in the honey
    • Make sure the cannabis is fully submerged in the honey
    • Rest jar lid on top of jar, again do not twist on lid
  3. Place your jar into your crock pot and fill the crock pot with water to the honey line in the jar
  4. Turn your crock pot on low and set an 8-hour timer you want the temperature to remain around 200°
  5. Every hour stir your concoction
  6. After 8 hours remove your cannabis wrapped cloth and give it a little squeeze over your jar
    • Don’t squeeze too hard, this will add unnecessary particles or color to your finished product
  7. Store your cannabis honey in an airtight jar in the fridge, or out of direct sunlight at an average temperature of 50-70° and your honey will last for years
